Betamore, an award winning co-working space, incubator and campus for technology and entrepreneurship is expanding its operations and opening a second location in Port Covington’s City Garage, a 130,000SF maker space. Partnering on the new project with Sagamore Ventures, the investment arm of Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, the new coworking space will include 55-65 desks, two conference rooms, private offices and an open event space. “We are thrilled to welcome Betamore to City Garage,” added Demian Costa, Managing Partner of Sagamore Ventures. “City Garage will offer cutting-edge STEAM classes and workshops including coding, 3D printing, woodworking and welding that are unique to the location. Betamore’s expansion is a catalyst for building tomorrow’s workforce.” “We are elated to be partnering with Betamore and Sagamore Ventures on this exciting new project” added Kelly Ennis. “When Betamore debuted in January 2012, Verve developed the space strategies and designed their current 8,000SF space; it’s been a huge success from day one.” “By expanding to City Garage,” said Betamore CEO, Jen Meyer, “Betamore will be able to offer entrepreneurs even more opportunities to help them launch and build successful businesses.” The build-out of the space will begin first quarter of 2017. 2016_9-28_CITY_GARAGE_VIEW01_FINAL-r1
