Maryland Innovation Center

Full Service Interior Architecture | Strategy | Planning 50,000 SF

The Howard County Economic Development Association’s (HCEDA) Maryland Innovation Center (MIC) is a 50,000 SF full-service resource for the local business and entrepreneurship community. The goal of MIC is to provide private sector companies the opportunity to solve complex problems with in a “vertical stack” of Economic Development.

This Center will not only have resources for startup companies and aspiring entrepreneurs. It will also foster innovation and business growth with established companies in the surrounding community, by partnering with Howard Community College, (HCC) also housed in the center, along with other large, local corporations.

The interior ecosystem includes the aforementioned HCEDA and HCC, along with the Howard County Technology Council as well as space for large events, many small huddle areas, pitch spaces and an Executive Board Room.

The Center is the next step in turning the Columbia Gateway Corporate Community into Howard County’s fist Innovation District. The Howard County Ecosystem now has a place to call home.
