Currently under construction, and in collaboration with Architectural Resources (A + r) the University of Buffalo (UB) Incubator and Innovation Hub (the Hub), located on the second floor of The Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences (CBLS) is designed to help connect ideas to action and move research from the lab to the marketplace.

The UB Incubator @ CBLS will play a key role in facilitating collaboration between the UB and industry leaders in technology and life-science based startups, accelerating commercialization of new technologies and growth of tech companies within the Buffalo Niagara region. Research partners include but are not limited to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, The Jacobs Institute, and Kaleida Health.

The newly renovated space will offer a variety of environments that encourage co-working and collaboration among growing companies. With an emphasis on flexibility, the Hub will accommodate all types of workflow and offer users a range of amenities and services to drive innovation to impact.

The new space will build upon its legacy of innovation, growing the tech economy and creating jobs in Buffalo and across Western New York.
