PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
To act as the main point of contact for clients, continually communicating and documenting decisions throughout all phases of design, including daily management of project budget and schedules. Follows company project management process and steers design project team to inspired results that align with client goals and expectations.
DESCRIPTION:
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
- Tracks project budgets and schedules to align with proposal and project work plan structure
- Leads team in client communication and directives with project trouble shooting
- Documents all meetings, files accordingly and distributes to project team
- Manages consultant relationships, deadlines and drawing coordination
- Tracks team resources, time spent and alignment with project scope
- Works closely with Studio Director for staffing and resource management
- Leads team in project permit submission, coordinates drawing review and signing/sealing with Architect of Record
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field.
Has NCIDQ qualification.
PMP or PSMJ training a plus.
Required Skills
- Highly organized individual able to lead multiple projects at a time
- Ability to logically think through actions and propose solutions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clients and team members
- Experience managing teams of 2-4 people
Technical
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam and Microsoft Projects
- Experience executing the full construction administration process
- Thorough drawing and conducting QA/QC review
- Shop drawing review
Required Experience
Applicants should have 5-8 years’ experience managing interior design and construction projects from concept through construction administration.

- Continued organization and further development of project management process
- Consistently delivers project updates to clients
- Reviews team member time sheets and provides guidance to keep project hours within time allotted

- Understanding and awareness of the importance of project management responsibilities

Primary Job Functions:
Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
Essential Roles & Responsibilities
- Creatively develops project concepts and translates that into design
- Ownership for development and production of presentation & documentation deliverables.
- Selection and product knowledge of interior finishes
- Implementation of CA process to deliver faithfully executed, documented design.
- Administer FF&E process to meet client needs, aesthetic requirement, and budget constraints.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
+05 Years Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field
Has or is working to earn NCIDQ qualification
Required Skills
- Ability to translate design concepts into reality
- Know how to produce mood boards and concept imagery according to firm standards
- Know sourcing for products (application/uses, pricing, appropriateness)
- Select appropriate FF&E products for review that capture the look and attitude as well as durability and pricing
- Show good eye for color and materials scale and balance, color and material relationships in both architecture and FF&E
- Demonstrate comfort at exploring new ideas in design
- Ability to present in front of clients and articulate the reason and research behind the concept and design
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of project processes related to coordination, workflow, project approvals, construction detailing, materials, methods, and codes
- Collaborate and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Knowledge of local and ADA codes and regulations
- Familiarity redlining drawings
- Understands basic branding and positioning concepts
- Have good hand-sketching skills. Able to sketch something quickly to show ideas and concepts.
- Competently cartoon elevations, manipulate floor plans, dimensions, create schedules, tag finishes, and set title blocks
