The Verve Partnership is proud to announce several high profile and recent designations and certifications including:

A National Certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE)
and A Women Owned Small Business (WOSB)
via the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Additional recent and current certifications include:
MDOT, Maryland State Certification,

MBE, Baltimore City WBE Howard County, Maryland,
WBE Prince Georges County, Maryland
WBE and the State of Pennsylvania (WOSB).

“Women owned businesses are critical to the economic growth in the city, state and region employing thousands of people, generating well over $2 billion in revenue annually.  Part of the firm’s long term strategy is recognizing that women and interior architectural/design firms have and deserve a strong voice in the built environment-which has historically been a male dominated industry.” Said Kelly Ennis, Founder and Managing Principal of The Verve Partnership.

Additionally, said Ennis, “Certification will provide our firm growth avenues to partner with clients, state and local agencies and partners in the AEC industry”.

In keeping with these requirements, The Verve Partnership has been 100% owned and controlled by women over the last 14 years, with 98% of the team being women and Baltimore City residents.

The certification process is meticulous, including in depth data reviews of the firm as well as site verification and interviews; confirming that the business is in fact 51% owned and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned business among their suppliers and strategic alliances, industry partnerships can demonstrate commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.

And quite frankly.

It’s about time.
